In organizing international competitions and forums, the company, with support from Ministry of Science and Technology of the People’s Republic of China, partnered with the CAS Innovation Cooperation Center (Bangkok) to host the APEC-approved “Innovating for Public Urban Technology Transformation Competition (INPUT).” The competition’s outcome, The Innovating for Public Urban Technology Transformation Competition Report (APEC Blue Book on Sustainable Urban Development), has been published as an official APEC publication on the APEC website and widely disseminated to all member economies.

Innovating for Public Urban Technology Transformation Competition(INPUT2) is approved by the Asia-Pacific Economic Cooperation (APEC), a significant organization for supporting Asia-Pacific regional economic integration, regional trade, and development. Policy Partnership on Science, Technology and Innovation(PPSTI)is one of the APEC-SCE working parties, and INPUT2 will promote exchange and collaboration through competitions, seminars, and visits in 21 economies under the direction of PPSTI.

In order to advance the idea of sustainable urban development, encourage exchange and cooperation in the application of science and technology, and enhance industrial development and urban governance in the 21 member economies, INPUT2 will concentrate on three key areas: “Green Economy“, “Sustainable Transportation” and “Liveable Cities“.
