Since its inception in 2006, Shanghai International Wine Challenge, or SIWC for short, has grown to become one of China’s premier wine Competition. With a robust panel of judges made up of domestic and international industry leaders, SIWC, the top wine-tasting competition, is renowned for its authority and impartiality in the sector and has established itself as the standard for the sector. Since the competition’s inception, more than 20,000 samples of wine from thousands of domestic and international wineries and firms have been submitted. SIWC will continue to collaborate with domestic and international wine merchants to support the industry’s healthy and prosperous growth.

Yearbook for the SIWC
A prize from the Shanghai International Wine challenge (SIWC) is a noteworthy achievement and a fantastic method to market the business.The competition gives platinum, gold, silver, and trophy prizes. The winning wines will be awarded with a certificate and label certified by the SIWC jury and published in the yearbook. Influential journalists, industry insiders, and wine enthusiasts will receive yearbooks from SIWC in order to raise awareness of award-winning wines.
Awards Dinner
The winning wines will be tasted and served at a dinner hosted by SIWC after the tournament. The SIWC trade tasting will provide a distinctive stage for SIWC winners by inviting buyers from all outlets, including supermarkets, agents, independent wine merchants, major restaurant and hotel chains, and supermarkets.
International Exhibitions
SIWC actively seeks out additional display and marketing opportunities for the award-winning wine samples and has frequently arranged for the award-winning wines from the SIWC to take part in important international wine shows. China International Import Expo (CIIE), China Food&Drinks Fair, ProWine Shanghai, etc.
Media promotion
More than ten organizations coordinated joint publicity; hundreds of media outlets covered the event; well-known bloggers from Xiaohongshu, Tiktok, Bilibili, and other platforms participated in SIWC and tasted the wine with the judges.
